The chemical composition is characterized by a high content of hydrocarbons (about 50%) and a relatively low amount of volatile esters. Candelilla wax appears as a pale yellow to light brown, hard and brittle wax, which adds texture and stability to products such as lip balms, lipsticks, creams and lotions.
Production process: Euphorbia Cerifera Cera is produced by harvesting the leaves of the candelilla bush, then drying them and grinding them into powder. The powder is heated and filtered to remove impurities, resulting in a solid, pale yellow to light brown wax. This natural process guarantees the purity of cosmetic level.
