Synonym: Unona odorantissimum, flower of flowers

Description: Ylang Ylang is a tropical tree belonging to the Annonaceae family. Growing up to 20 metres high, it has fragrant pink, mauve or yellow flowers.

Extraction: Cananga odorata Flower Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers, Cananga odorata.

Applications:

Aromatherapy applications
Component used in cosmetic products

Properties: Aphrodisiac, anti-depressant, anti-infectious, anti-seborrhoeic, anti-septic, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, regulator, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic.

Helps with: Acne, hair growth, insect bites, high blood pressure, hyperpnoea, tachycardia, insomnia, nervous tension and stress related disorders.
