Botanic INCI: Citrus Aurantium Amara Leaf/ Twig Oil
Synonym: C. Brigaradia, petitgrain bigarade (oil), petitgrain Paraguay (oil), Bitter Orange Oil.
Description: Petitgrain is derived from an evergreen tree belonging to the Rutaceae family. Growing up to 10 metres high, it has fragrant white flowers and dark, glossy leaves.
Extraction: Citrus Aurantium Amara Leaf/Twig Oil is the volatile oil obtained from the leaves and twigs of the Bitter Orange, Citrus aurantium L. var. amara L., Rutaceae.
