Description: Litsea Cubeba is a small, tropical evergreen tree belonging to the Lauraceae family. It has white or yellow lemonscented flowers and fruits shaped like peppers from which the word ‘cubeb’ is derived. The fruits are initially green in colour and turn red to dark brown on ripening. When dried, these small fruits look like large, dried black peppers.
Extraction: Litsea cubeba Fruit Oil is the volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the berries of Litsea cubeba.
