Organic Castor Oil | Cold-Pressed, Versatile & Intensively Conditioning
Organic castor oil is extracted from the seeds of the castor bean plant (Ricinus communis) and has been known for centuries as a versatile vegetable oil for cosmetic applications. This high-quality oil is hexane-free, organic, cold-pressed and unrefined, allowing its natural properties to be optimally preserved. Thanks to its high concentration of ricinoleic acid, castor oil has a characteristic thick texture and excellent conditioning properties.
This castor oil originates from India and is only cold-pressed and filtered. The oil is particularly popular as an ingredient in hair care, soap, skin care and bath products. Thanks to its unique emulsifying properties, castor oil mixes better with water than most other vegetable oils, making it ideal for bath bombs, bath oils and aromatherapy.
