SQ Eco Rapeseed Wax is a 100% pure and natural plant-based wax of European origin. The wax is produced by hydrogenating and hardening rapeseed oil. Rapeseed, also known as canola, is a yellow-flowering plant from the cruciferous family that is widely cultivated throughout Europe.

This cosmetic-grade rapeseed wax has an extra-hard crystalline structure and is specifically intended to make cosmetic formulations firmer. The wax can also be used as a natural, plant-based alternative to paraffin in cosmetics. Due to its high hardness, only a small amount is required. Use a maximum of 10-15% to prevent swelling during solidification.

• Do not use pure or in excessively high concentrations due to possible swelling during solidification.

• For container candles and wax melts, a specially developed soft rapeseed wax is recommended.
