Lip Balm Base | 100% Natural, Nourishing & Customisable

This 100% natural lip balm base is a ready-to-use base for easily making your own lip balm and other lip care products. The base consists of a nourishing combination of sunflower oil, shea butter, beeswax and vitamin E and contains no petroleum.

The lip balm base is easy to melt and customise as desired. For example, add a suitable flavour, essential oil or cosmetic colour pigment to create a unique lip balm. SQ-Micas and SQ-Glitters can also be used for extra colour and shine.

Directions for use & application

The lip balm base is ready to use and only needs to be melted, customised and cooled.

Carefully heat the desired amount without the lid in the microwave or using a bain-marie.
Mix the melted base with suitable flavours, essential oils or cosmetic colour pigments.
For colour and shine, SQ-Micas and SQ-Glitters can be added, for example.
Then pour the liquid lip balm into suitable jars or tubes.
Allow the lip balm to cool and set completely. This process can optionally be accelerated in the refrigerator.
For a firmer end result, Rapeseed Wax - OBW053 can be added to the base.
Always add additional ingredients at a suitable dosage for lip products.
Please note: the melted lip balm base can become very hot. Work carefully and keep the product out of reach of children under 8 years of age while melting.
